Free Promotion on Latest Book

Larry Marsman never met his father, Robbert Willem Marsman, who perished in an air battle over the Kai Islands during World War II. Robbert was one of the “Flying Dutchmen” stationed for training at Hawkins Field in Jackson, MS, after the fall of The Netherlands and the Dutch East Indies to Germany and Japan. This story is a fictionalized biography of Robbert Willem Marsman which holds true to the facts. It is also a story that spans time and distance, through a wedding band that traveled around the world.

I’m doing a free e-book promotion on my latest book “Ring Around the World” through Amazon.com. It should start at some point on Thursday (2/13/20) and end at some point on the following Monday. When you complete the book on your reader, it will give you the opportunity to review the book. We authors depend on these reviews to help move us up in the market. I’d deeply appreciate your taking a few extra minutes to complete this process. I hope you enjoy the book and the fact that the story is true and involves an important time in Mississippi history. Thank you all for you continued support and encouragement. Also, a special nod of appreciation goes to Gary Walters for doing the cover art. Gary and Larry Marsman grew up together, sit is so special for both Larry and me that he offered to do this.

Book Release: Ring Around the World

I am pleased to announce the release of my new book “Ring Around the World”. It is a departure from my mystery “Healing” series. Unlike the aforementioned series, this book has taken me years to write. It required extensive research to bring this hero and father to life for his son, Larry Marsman. Larry and his wife, Pat, now live in Mississippi and own The Natchez Trace Stables. Larry’s father, Robbert Willem Marsman was one of the “Flying Dutchmen” stationed at Hawkins field for training, after The Netherlands and Dutch East Indies were invaded by Germany and Japan.

It is also a story of a love that never died and a ring (a symbol of that love) that made its way around the world as a reminder that love always finds its way home. This is a fictionalized biography and I have done my best to recreate historical events as they occurred. The known facts which include, the man, the love and the ring’s journey were the basis for this story. I originally planned to wait to announce the release until Larry could actually hold an author’s copy (which I have ordered for him). But I know he is anxious to share this story with others. So, I am announcing the release today, on the brink of a New Year and a new decade.

A portion of Larry’s proceeds will go to Larry’s Horse Therapy Program for Autistic Children. Please note that Gary Walters did a beautiful job on the cover art for this book. Larry is his childhood friend. I wish each of you the best in the coming year and hope you enjoy.

This book can be purchased on Amazon.com or at Lemuria Bookstore. If you enjoyed the book, please leave a review either on Amazon.com or Goodreads. Meanwhile watch for the next installment in my “Healing” series, “The Return” in 2020.
